Flip is a creative community where you make and share online scrapbooks called flipbooks. Flipbooks contain your photos, videos, music, text, and drawings. They can be made about anything you want, and they are made in the easy-to-use Flipbook Creator. Once you’ve made a flipbook, you can share them with your friends and the world.

1) Upload
Use your own photos, music, and videos.
If you already have pics on Facebook or Photobucket, you can use them, too!
2) Design
Use our tools to make your flipbook look however you want.
Rotate, resize, and crop images; write text; add a soundtrack; draw freestyle; and more!
Templates make flipbooking easy!
Grab backgrounds and stickers from our library.
3) Share
Get the Flipbook Creator application to make and share your flipbooks on Facebook.
Click the Embed button on your flipbooks to put them on favorite social networking sites--MySpace, Bebo, Hi5, Tagged, Piczo, and more!
Create flipbooks about whatever you want. For example:
* Your poems, photos, and crafts
* Music, celebrities, sports
* Birthday parties, the prom, weddings
* Your friends and family

Flip requires the latest version of Adobe Flash Player: Version 9. You will being missing out on the majority of the Flip Web site if you do not have this upgraded version.

To ensure that no one can see your flipbooks except you, please do not publish them. When you publish a flipbook, this means you are sharing it with anyone that comes to Flip.
On partner sites:
When sharing your flipbooks on other sites via applications (for example, when using the Flip Facebook application), your security settings on the partner site take precedent. So, for example, if you only allow users in your networks to view your Facebook profile, or only your friends, those are the same people allowed (or not!) to view your flipbooks on your Facebook profile.

Show off your work by adding Flipbooks to any website that accepts embed code--
embed just means to “place an object in a new surrounding”–so basically if you can throw a youtube video into a page, you can add a Flipbook!
How you do it?
* On the viewer page of any Flipbook, you will see a green link that says “Embed It”. When you click on that link, you will get a pop-up with some html code.
* Copy this code and paste it into an open html field area on another site. For example, on Myspace, go to edit your profile and throw it any of the sections like “about me”. Then switch back to your public profile view and the Flipbook should appear and play just like it would on Flip!Flipbooks should be able to be embed on:
*Myspace
*Xanga
*Piczo
*Tagged
*Myyearbook
One important note! If your embed looks a little funky on your Myspace page, it’s probably because you have a fancy layout that is distorting the embed. Try changing your layout!

To find your Flip friends, simply search for their member or flipbook names, and then leave them a comment on one of their flipbooks on how to contact you.
On Facebook:
There are a few ways to find your Flip friends on Facebook. You can leave them a comment on one of their flipbooks telling them your Facebook name and to befriend you. You can also join the Flip on Facebook club: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=10973632773. Or search for them in the Fans of Flip page: http://www.facebook.com/flip.
